Thank you Butch. What you have done has certainly improved the image many times. I will try doing the same in PS to see if I achieve the same results. Not sure I know if there is a facility in PS to add Skylight filter or is that something restricted to Nik Suite? Thank you for the education. Much appreciated. |

I agree Judith and considered what you have stated as regards the splitting of the image in half. Problem is with the lens that I had at the time this was the best I could do to get the trees on the left and right, the higher up brightly lit sky and the lower down white clouds. I liked the overall scene presented by nature and did not want to eliminate any aspect of what I saw. Honestly I did not understand the vignetting bit in your comment. Thank you for your inputs. |

Lovely image Butch. I like the brightness in the flag and with the sun in the background it kind of gives a natural effect. Maybe reduce the brightness a tad to bring out the stars in the flag. The silver at the bottom of the pole does not bother me too much. Sometimes leaving things as we see adds to the authenticity of the image. Perhaps the noise can be improved a bit. The human elements add depth to the image and brings about a focus element as a silhouette. Well done. |

Very creative Judith. Excellent image. I like what Tom did to reduce the brightness in the frame and darken the background a bit to bring out the flowers even more. Still life is one genre I have not attempted but appears to be challenging. Hopefully 2025 will be a step in the right direction. Will reach out to this group for guidance. |

Nicely done Barbara. Tack sharp. Can see the eyes of the bird clearly. Whites are in control and the contrast with the water eye-catching. Only wish was if the water was a bit still... you would have got a perfect reflection. |

Super and unusual image Tomi. I like what Tom and Judith have suggested and worked on. The shadows are better and lightening of the trousers also bring out details. Well shot. |

Well spotted Tom and well shot. The slight tilt in the trees do not bother me much. Trees are never ever always straight and tend to lean slightly where the source of light is. Not everything must be corrected especially if it relates to nature. The photographer in the bright jacket adds a focal point and leads naturally from the leading line. Would not change a thing. |
