Hello Butch. I do not really mind the over processed clouds. On some days nature does play games with us. I like the contrast in the image and it is quite dramatic. I love the curve on the road and I am glad you stopped where you did and took this picture. Actually a focal point on the road would have taken away attention from the road and the dramatic clouds. If you are using this in a salon, I would reduce the processing in the clouds a wee bit to gain brownie points with the purists. !!!! |

Agree with Butch on the water taking the attention away from the main subject. Cropping done by Butch is also great and the emphasis on the canoe is retained in the flipping of the image. I was wondering if by using a slower shutter speed you could have a gentler view of the water? |

I agree with all the comments above. The image is unusual to say the least. Vertical presentation added to the mystique. Love the details in the shadows. I was wondering if the shadow was enhanced because of the black container? Very well done. |

I am very glad you tried something different. I never get to see the moon in this colour. It looks a bit over saturated. I like the image for its creative content. Well done. |

Hi Tom, lovely image. Agree with Butch on the number of focal points in the image taking away the attention from the light house itself. Yes, you did well by including the other elements but the eye gets a bit distracted by the other elements. The crop by Butch is what I would have done to ensure that the light house becomes the focal point. Only thing I may have changed in Butch's version is to perhaps reduce the exposure a bit to bring out the details in the light house. Well done. |
