Nice image Rich. You have captured the brilliant colours of the fall. Not sure I understand Judith's point of stating that if you would have moved more to the left to get a clearer view of? The white fence can be easily cloned or dodged a bit, but then it is not such a eye sore as there is a second man made element, the road, to balance it. Like the curvature of the branches too. |

I love the shadows that the flags cast, the symmetry of the flags with the leading lines of the floor lights and the divider taking our eyes to the cluster of trees and then to the blue skies. Excellent image. |

Thanks Judith. Yes, the ISO was a bit high to achieve fast shutter speeds to capture fast flying birds. The image was shot at around 10.00 AM when the desert sun was already way too bright. On hindsight I could have reduced the ISO a bit and lived with a slightly lower shutter speed. However, the noise was not noticeable( have used ISO 5000 and above on the Z9 with not terrible results) and I used the Denoise in PS. Cropping was done from the top as there were some electrical cables in the background. I did not sharpen the image at all. Just adjusted the lighting and colours a bit. Will reprocess and see if it improves. |

Super image Paul. The yellow in the fishing reel contrasts beautifully with the darker table and the reel itself. I also enjoyed the size contrast of the baits it the rod and the reel. Just one question why the low ISO, as the subjects are all static? Would you be able to achieve similar results with a higher ISO( say 200) and lower exposure time? Trying to learn and understand. |

Nice sharp image. I rotated it a bit to increase the diagonal and dodged the brightness on the snail a bit and increased the contrast a wee bit. Nature is so amazing. |
