Thank you Gaetan. Much appreciated. I retained the people in the image to give the impression that it is a social and religious event and they are witnesses to that. |

Hey Rich, I like the way the narrow passage between the two peaks get emphasised in the image. Wish there were some more clouds and a bit of warmth in the sky with warm tones. You managed to get the waves sharp and freeze them. But do I detect some "noise" in the water? |

Hey Gaetan, I like what you have done to the sky. Curious to know why you maintained the shutter speed so slow, specially as it was hand held? Perhaps to get some softness in the clouds? As suggested by Barbara a slight brightening the foreground would bring out the colours there. Good soothing image. Notice a vertical tilt in the smaller structure in the middle. |

Hey Paul. Super play of light. All elements of the subject in focus. I believe the light was from the top and appears to be natural light? I like how the light reduces in intensity as it filters through the different layers of the leaves and reaches the vase. Very nice. |

Hey Tony. Lovely portrait. Two questions, could you have darkened the very bright background? Distracts from the lovely play of light on the subject's face. I also note some softening near the ears of the subject. Not sure what in the post processing this is due to, considering the subject is quite sharp in the original image? Maybe due to face smoothening? |

Super landscape image. Love the colours and the symmetry. Am ambivalent on the hawk, perhaps takes the viewer away from the landscape however briefly. Shadows are fine. |

I like the contrast of the black smoke against the white of the barge and the blue sky. For a moment I thought those were alligators in the water till I read your comment..!!!Love the light in the image. |

Thank you Barbara. Much appreciated. These are actually dried leaves of the tamarind tree. They burn fiercely and fast. This is a religious event or enactment. Look up Theyyam on the Internet to get a better idea on what it is all about. |
