7 Jan 23 Comment Super image Paul. You at once gave an impression of water moving and yet been frozen. The gentle curves of the water add to the magic. Love the different colours in the rocks. Your exposure and depth of field were perfect. It can easily grace a living room as a calming image. Jan 23rd
7 Jan 23 Comment Love the feeling of motion in the image both in the waves and when the pelican is peddling away. The golden light adds magic and the pelican is very sharp and I can even see its eyes. You were at the right place at the right time and shot a super image. Jan 23rd
7 Jan 23 Comment Thank you Paul, your image very pleasantly portrayed a scene of a bygone era when things were not easy. I like the light from the windows lighting up the crockery and the table cloth and the shadows. The colour of the wood has also come of well. I would have just increased the saturation a wee bit to bring out the texture in the wood of the table and the chair on the left. I also like how you captured the lines in the wooden floor. I suspect the windows were a relatively recent addition given the different in the material. Overall, very nice. Jan 23rd
7 Jan 23 Comment Such a warm cosy image of a gentle and easy paced way of life. I like the setting and the ambience very much and you captured the mood well. I would never have considered the lady on the right napping, just a trifle bored or feeling left out..!! Did you have space on your left wherein the table, the overhead lamps and the lamps in the other room would have aligned and the whole table would have got included? I like symmetry and look for it in any settings. Very nice image. Jan 23rd
7 Jan 23 Comment Very interesting image Gaetan. Did you have space on the right? A couple of steps to the right and the peeping person on the right could have been avoided? It may have also emphasised the sense of direction with the head of the person and the dog. I thoroughly enjoyed the image. Turkey is such an interesting place. Jan 23rd
