Well spotted Gaetan. I agree with all the suggestions made by Barbara, Tom M, Rich, TT and Paul. |

Hey Tony, I admire your PS skills. Am yet to learn how to replace elements in an image. The light, elements and the shadows are perfect. The only thing that caught my attention was the odd patch to the right of the tree where you replaced the lamp. That sharp halo on the tree gave it away, but then I am nit picking!! Super image. |

Super image Barbara. Am well aware of the difficulty in shooting birds and wild life. They hardly give us mere humans an audience!! The only thing I would change is dodge the bright branch behind the bird as it appears to be the brightest spot in the image taking my eyes away from the bird. I like the background and indicates its natural habitat. I am not sure if the image will improve if I increased vibrance and saturation for the red colour? |

Wow Rich, for a moment I thought I was viewing a painting by one of the Dutch Masters in a museum. I learnt something new as to how the clarity function to be used a bit differently. I was wondering how the image would have looked if you had retained just a bit of the blue sky? |

Lovely image Tom. I have nothing further to add to what has already been stated by the others except to emphasise it is a pleasant image and brought a smile. Thank you for that. Just a wee bit of opening of the interiors would bring out the details of the woodwork of the bridge? |

Thank you Tony for the suggestion. Much appreciated. I wonder whether the lightening of the background to such an extent would contrast too much with the foreground and whilst highlighting the subjects would make it look a bit overworked? Not sure, but am going to try it. |

Thank you Rich for the detailed instructions. Much appreciated. This is how I learn about techniques in PS to improve images. I will try what you have suggested. Appreciate the work on the image. It looks much improved than the one I shot. |

Gaetan, thank you for your comments. Indeed the objective was to shoot them in this unusual pose. I wanted to capture them whilst they were doing this dance of sorts. But thank you for the suggestion. I have images when they are distinct and separate but thought it was a bit unusual in this position. |

Thank you Barbara. I find your suggestions and comments very incisive and helpful. I will try and darken the background though I am not sure if I am capable enough of doing it. Will do some reading on PS and try and follow your advice. Thank you again. |
