Very nice Barbara. Super sharp, smooth background, nothing to distract, good catch light, good detail in the black and white areas. The tail beats me. Why is it so smooth? Amazing. |

Thank you Stephen. Well noted. I know it is a matter of preference but please do tell me what you would have done with the branches, the part inclusion of the lady and anything which you did not like. Please be brutally honest That is the only way I will learn. Await your comments. Thank you. |

Lovely image Rich. Love the conversion to mono. Makes sense at so many levels. Old trains to match monochrome images of the era. The details are well preserved, contrast is just right and the whites, grey and blacks in good balance. Very nice indeed. Reminded me of my childhood...dad was a driver in the Indian Railways!!! |

Such a pleasant overall ambience. The only change I would have done would be to enhance the saturation to bring out the colours in the flowers and the wood in the cart. Very pleasing. |

Super processing. Do you think including a little bit more of the base so that the trees appear in full and reducing the dark part of the clouds from the top would have enhanced the image? |

Great work Tony. If you had not mentioned that this was a combination image, it would not have been possible to deduce that. The birds are almost having a conversation....!!!
The colouring has come out very well and the catchlight in the bird on the left is super. I however note that the sharpness in the bird on the right has been compromised a bit, as the original image is very sharp. I would may be burn the two leaves in the foreground a bit as they take attention away from the birds. Overall a pleasing image. |

Hey Tom. I like the leading lines to the bridge and the play of light and shadows, the cool and the warm and the serenity it portrays. Not sure if a bit of saturation to bring out the red structure and a bit of dehazing would have given it a bit more punch? |

Thank you Frans. Do you mean reduce the sharpness in the foreground? I could manage the background, not sure how I can do the foreground without compromising the subject. If you can guide me as to how to selectively blur the foreground without compromising on the main subjects? I tried the various options in PS but did not work as expected. Maybe I was not doing it right. When you mean desaturate you mean reduce the highlights in the flowers? Do you feel that they are washed out a bit? Await your response. Thank you. |

Thank you Tom. Well spotted. I left it there as a bit of a contrast to the white background. But yes it is not helping if it distracts. Will crop it out as that would also take care of the peeping flower on the right. |

Hi David. The image was shot around mid-day but cloudy. Hand held. Not sure about increasing the shutter speed as the subjects were not moving around too much. You state this as you believe the sharpness is not as much as desired? Please let me know so I understand and learn. Thank you. |

Super David. As I also enjoy macro photography, I am aware of the difficulty of constantly moving subjects. You have indeed done very well. A couple of hundred images..!!!! Did you do any focus stacking?
In my part of the world if I can get a subject big enough and static enough I count my blessings. Very well done. |

Super image Dan. Would increasing the saturation, specifically yellow colour make it bright and highlight the peregrine? Maybe just a bit of blur of the branches over the bird's head not take the viewer away beyond the bird? Perhaps I am nitpicking....Very nice image. |

Wow, super image. Great clarity, super focus and amazing action, backed by a neutral background so as not to distract. Loved it. |

Nice capture Julie. A couple of things. The area behind the neck of the bird is a bit washed out, leading to loss of detail. There is a bit of a merger issue when the head of the stork and body are in line. Did you take multiple shots where there is a bit of a gap between the neck and body? Good catchlight in the eye. |

My thoughts have already been incorporated by Dan and David. Maybe an angular approach showing the flower at a bit of a diagonal would have increased the attractiveness? |
