Thank you Ian, Tom and Tony for your kind words. Much appreciated. I am going to use this image in a couple of salons, both the colour and the mono versions. Will keep you posted if it wins any acceptances. |

I love the mystery and allure of the image. If you had not reversed the image, all I would have done is to crop it a bit on the right to bring the pillars at the end of the image on both sides. Have you tried converting it to B&W to see if it increases the mystery and brings out the different shades in the stones? My PC at work is very slow and I gave up after 3 attempts. Will try it again at home where the PC is much better. |

Lovely image Tony. Love the leading lines of the water and the lights on the left to the colourful sky and the peaks. Very balanced image with natural colours and streaks of morning light and glory. The contrast is also just right. Well done. |

Lovely image Barbara. I was wondering if you had any space above the bird's head and perhaps you can reduce the foreground a bit? The bird and the fish are tack sharp and love the movement of the water. What would I change it anything at all? Maybe using the burn tool reduce a bit of the light on the back of the Grebe to highlight the darker parts? Lovely image. You are lucky to live amongst so much nature. |

Dear Rick, I agree with Tom and Tony on the points they have highlighted. I love the abstract nature of the image. Would not change anything. Almost made me wish if I could dip my toes in the water...!!! |

Dear Tom, a nice cosy environment bringing out the vibrancy and warmth of the room. I was wondering if you could in any way reduce the very bright source of light from the window a bit and if you have some space on the right to complete the arch? That would also bring into focus the other sofa on the right in the picture and also not bring that lovely Tiffany lamp too close to the edge of the picture. But maybe I am being too nit picky.... overall the picture brought a smile to my face...!!! |
