Wow. Thank you Paul and Tom. Both of you brought up matters that were very interesting and vastly improved the image. The eye moves seamlessly from the left to the right, rests on the museum and then moves on to the other buildings. Now I enjoy the symmetry and the direction of movement. Thank you for the education both. Much appreciated. |

Hello Paul, A very impactful image. The fury of the ocean, the collapsing fencing, dark clouds all add to the drama. The best part is the fencing leading to the waves. Well spotted. Huge improvement over the original image. |

Hi Helen, I am glad you spotted this scene. I like the reflections, the direction of movement and the overall synergy in the image. Would I change anything? Perhaps if you had the opportunity to take the image a little bit from the right, perhaps that nasty power tower could have been eliminated, though I suspect that would lead to the main tree on the right hand side also been removed. But as you have more trees on the right it could have balanced out. Good image. |

Hello Tony, again agree with Tom on most parts. Mono looks better and brings mystery to the image. I was wondering if you could increase the contrast a wee bit in the two main clouds as they appear to be rain bearing and would bring more depth to the image? A very good image. Hope with the pandemic mostly behind us you are able to shoot more images. |

Hi Rich, I agree with Tom for most parts. I find the image a bit boxed in so if you had some more space in front of the image it would also indicate the direction of movement and make it perfect. Fine image portraying a social scene. |

A very nice image Tom. The birds are sharp, background nicely blurred to focus on the main subjects. The bird house itself brings out a nice contrast and the addition of the catch light is the cherry on the cake(Note to self- must learn how to do that). Not sure if I spot a Vertical Tilt but that is all I would change if it has a VT. Thank you for posting. |
