I am glad you did not slow down the waterfall. (A personal preference.) The focus is sharp, the composition is excellent. I like that the waterfall is just a bit off center and slightly diagonal from top to bottom. Sometimes a centered compsosition works just fine. The colors are perfect in the overcast, rainy day. I love this image. |

I totally agree with Dave. The stars are too soft. And I, too would like to see a bit more detail in the foreground. Nevertheless a very impressive photo; something I have never done (gotta work on that). |

I, too , love the southwest and the Valley of Fire. Your image show the swirling color variations very well. The color changes from front to back give the image depth and guide the viewer into the scene. The focus is sharp and the depth of field is excellent. Very nice photo. Makes me want to jump in the car and travel again. |

I love the moodines of the image. I agree with the others regarding cropping off the top part to the lower cloud. The focus is sharp. Except for the centered horizon line, the composition is balanced and pleasing. Leading lines draw the viewer up river. The colors are very muted which emphasizes the moody dark day. I like it. |
