So I love this picture, its composition, your style. Now I'm frustrated, I have too many versions. You choose in the end, of course. Nothing is to be neglected... Nothing to throw away. Just different impressions and different intentions! I love it unconditionally. |

Aren't you trying to make your images too perfect? I like the fact that, tilted, you have to look up to see the top of the building. Indeed, the scale given by the character is also important. What I see is the excess, the height, before the reflections and the blue of the windows. And the dark sky reflected in the windows... For me, it's also part of the description of the image that's important. It all depends on what the author wanted to show.

Oops, sorry about that,
I just wanted to say that I really like this image: the proportions of the buildings, the importance of the opera house, which is a Sydney landmark, and the buildings behind it.
I like the blue sky and the postcard effect. All I want to do is go there. |

Ian you seem angry with the judges.... It's a sterile discussion, they have their sensibilities, we have ours. It's always a subjective assessment. The day we oppose an objective judgment, we'll all be the same, identical, soulless...
Anyway, it's a very interesting photo. Light and shadow are at the heart of the subject. The sun and the lava create an unreal and, above all, impressive atmosphere. How can you stand there in front of such a scene without taking the photo? You couldn't, and you've captured the mood and atmosphere very well.
Never let anyone denigrate your work, it's a piece of yourself you're giving us, and thank you for this gift. |

Gordon, every club would love to be able to attend a conference given by you. You seem to have mastered your subject to perfection. I must admit that I appreciate it, and that I don't know a thing about it. How to position yourself or find the right spot, the focal length, the settings... Time of day, ... In short, what I can say is that I like the end result. Bravo |

A superb image of these aerobatic champions. At home we have the Patrouille de France, but the Blue Angels are just as famous.
They're good at flying so low in inverted position, so close together. Nice shot. You chose the right place at the right time.
I'm a fan of Maverick and Top Gun: I find this atmosphere and I salute the sporting feat and the photographer's speed in capturing the right moment. Not only do we congratulate the drivers, but the photographer's work sublimates the action.
Bravo

Hello, I'm trying to answer your question. For me, it loses part of its soul. It looks too clean and perfect. It's a show, and we're lucky that the bodies are perfect and the toes taut... Now, what do you suggest?
Thank you for your help. |
