Are you sure these are sunflowers? As far as I'm concerned, they're palm trees, and in the snow too... It's a striking contrast.
Infrared is not an easy vision for me. It's a way of diverting the situation and showing something else.
It makes me want to give it a try. |

Bravo for the technical prowess, but actually, I wouldn't have wanted to know how the image was made. It loses its magic. It's true that you can do anything these days, you just have to have the idea.
This image becomes dynamic and very realistic with the reflection in the water. I know it's hard to make the northern lights. You have to be in the right place at the right time. But there's no warning, and if it's the middle of the night, I can't see myself going out in my slippers, getting in the car to take a photo... So I like the compromise. |

The sunset debate...
In short, the main thing is to enjoy yourself by pressing the button on the camera, and you've succeeded perfectly here. I can feel the warmth, the calm, an inner peace, a form of harmony that's hard to maintain these days.
We can always say: "sun too centered", "framing this", "framing that", ... Always be proud of what you do, and it doesn't matter if others don't feel the same.
As for me, I enjoyed the warmth of the sun, which is sorely lacking in France at the moment.
Fates gives you pleasure and I'm feeling it. |

This photo is a sight to behold: lots of people, but a diversity of characters, costumes, ...
Of course, the sheer number of people is striking, but there are also different scenes. The people seem to be on their knees, and the colorful clothes suggest a festive or religious scene.
It's an interesting and lively document of a country I don't know. Thank you for taking us on your trip. |

I'd love to be able to make landscapes like that, with subtlety, softness and sparkle...
You've taken as much of the original as possible and kept it incredibly soft. This landscape is soothing and fresh at the same time. It nourishes us inside and brings all your attentions to the viewer. It's a gift that tells us: observe, see, admire without saying a word too many.
Well done. |

Thanks, Gordon,
On the ankle it's a bracelet and the spots are tattoos.
I don't mind cloning everything, I'll give it a try. But Fiap like PSA, this image has already been accepted in competition.
To show you the difference with the color, I'm attaching another color image, which I'm sure will never pass muster. |
