Black and white or color? That's the question!
A good question... but not an easy one to answer. I like both. The color, especially the blue of the dress and the gold of the skin, complement each other well. It gives contrast and life.
In black and white, the emphasis is on the model's expression lines, and her neck stands out because it's lighter. Perhaps it should be toned down. Black and white has a timeless quality that goes well with this kind of portrait. Color remains resolutely descriptive and rooted in the present.
I'm sure your choice will be the right one. |

Splendid. It's a precious moment to behold here. The snowy landscape envelops these two ancient buildings like a jewel case. The tree adds height to the scene, which you've chosen to frame vertically. It's like a tribute to what these buildings represent, to their glorious past.
The image processing is perfect. It's soft and peaceful, like the veil of snow that surrounds the image. |

I find it very interesting to watch. Our vision seems to be truncated. I see a snowy landscape without snow. There's harmony, a certain tranquility. The rendering is very pleasant. Would we have had the same impression through the foam of a glass of beer?
I can imagine anything, including a spring landscape with trees covered in white flowers... Depending on whether you see the glass as half full or half empty.... of beer, of course. The main thing is to have fun. |

Hello, I'm certainly going to miss the name of this insect: the moro sphynx.
With its hummingbird-like appearance, this large butterfly is well known to gardeners.
It has a thick body, generally narrow, tapering wings and a long proboscis for foraging in flight.
I'm lucky enough to see them occasionally in the surrounding gardens. One more try with my lens, which I'm still testing.
But I've been told around here it's "commonplace"... I like it. |
