Ian bravo I like the very different mood of the two images.
Color is dreamy, ephemeral, soft. Black and white is strength, to which the sky contributes, anguish and intrigue.
Two different moods for the same image. It couldn't be better.
In color, the trees fade through the mist and everything seems evanescent. A promise of intimacy, of calm, of a rendezvous with nature that has yet to fully reveal itself. Black and white is the tonic side of a walker out for a jog before the sky falls.
So here's a suggestion: today I'd like a third image. Play with the opacity of the black and white layer and some of the details of the trees will come back, but it's still a very different third impression. The first two are great. |

We're standing in front of a waterfall, with a trickle of water running down this vertiginous wall.
The stacking is very well done, accentuating the impression of height.
My only drawback is the omnipresent green, which prevents me from seeing the detail of the rocks. It's still the biggest part of the photo.
I tried adding a black and white nik Collection mask and setting it to such an intensity that the green showed through a little. This gives relief to the rocks, not forgetting the waterfall.
But it's only an attempt. You are the author and your choice will be respected. It's a very fine piece of work. |

You're showing us a lion that looks to me like it's yawning. You've captured an attitude more than a lion sitting there waiting. These moments are magical and show us all the details of this animal. His mane, his tongue, his teeth, ... And all without getting too close. It's very well done and very moving. You waited for the right moment when something was happening to take his picture and "draw his portrait" as we say in France. |

Henriette, your landscape is majestic, showing off the contrasts of the slopes magnificently.
The intensity is so great that we can't get enough of the details and follow the path through the image. Good choice of black and white. Well done. |

Gordon it's very beautiful and well done. There is emotion, gravity but also delicacy in your image.
I like the mist below, but it obscures the dancer's foot too much. Perhaps it should be brought out. The intensity is in the eyes, but the feet are very important in tango.
You've done particularly well with the hands, all the hands, which benefit from good light and interesting contrast.
It's really beautiful, artistic and a tribute to both the dancers and the photographer/ Bravo |

Thank you very much. I gave it a try.
Now the central post is no longer straight and you're levitating without a foothold on the ground. That's why I added the bunch of trees at the bottom.
I'll give you a try, but without conviction. Let me know what you think. |
