Henriette your image is very beautiful. It took me back a few years during one of my trips to Arizona, I had seen the same plants and backlit too. I was eager to go and see mine. If I didn't do anything with them, it was disappointing. Your treatment gave it relief and the warm background makes the plants stand out. You know how to do that very well. Bravo |

It is a dance, a dance of light. I love the way the light of the reverberations is rendered.
We are often used to seeing night photos with long pauses to get the traces of the headlights but in the rain I had never seen this before.
Forget the "purists" who say "but there is nothing clear"... I like it like that for its atmosphere, the color and the lights. Well done |

After watching the original, I understand your framing better. It's a nice, effective image that's easy on the eyes. The processing is superb.
I would have liked a little more space around the flower but it is not obvious we would be embarrassed by the background to the right of the flower.
It's perfect like that.

The scene is extremely well captured. At the right moment with an identical attitude of the adult and the baby.
This is a country I could never go to and you make me travel happily.
It is a precise image in composition with the birds, the elephants... The savannah is well rendered. A downside for the sky that I find a little bluish gray but it does not harm the photo.
It's nice to travel and see such scenes, would the earth still have beautiful remains? |

What an imagination,
It is very successful.
The idea that the character emerges from the ferns is interesting. You have the attention to detail. Immediately, this image puts a smile on your face.
To say I have something to say, and I have been looking, perhaps the ferns should be blurred a little more to give the photo some relief. Since everything is in focus, the ferns are on the same level as the character. But this is only my opinion, I would be unable to do this.

Oh thank you very much Ian, I was overall disappointed with this show and I see that my picture is not that bad. I got 4 acceptances at the Del Colline interational competition in Italy. It was the first time I presented it.
