There is an infinity of things to look at in this image: the stormy sky, the farm with its corrugated iron roof, the pallet in the foreground and in the background. Everything is mastered and this makes it a complete image. The warm tones of the straw and trees contrast with the black/gray of the sky. It's amazing what you can do with an image. Bravo |

The cropping is good, the color is nice and the whole image looks natural. If you follow your eye, you enter the image from the left and so you follow the church, its reflection and you arrive on the rays of the sun and these reflect us back to the church. For me, the glance does not leave the image so easily, but it is my interpretation. It is necessary to try this image in competition why not. The only reflection that comes to me is to know if it is not an image too common. It reminds me of a famous house in Brittany that has been photographed, even immortalized by all the photographers in the area and in competition, except if you put it in India or Asia, it has no impact.
Yours for me is quite beautiful as well but each judge has his sensitivity and will then ask himself the question of the impact. |

I like this image, it is colorful and the framing brings the eye to the main subject: the line of boats. You have densified the colors as they come out beautifully. In the gray of winter, this colorful image awakens the eyes and warms the heart. The blue string doesn't bother me more than that, it is still discreet. Bravo |

This picture is very interesting. It shows the indifference of the birds in the foreground to this fishing bird. There is space around the birds and a harmonious composition. I trust you on the names of the birds, I'm terrible at it. The color, the framing, the action all lead us to admire this shot. Well done. |

Henriette, I am making progress thanks to you. At least I know what a great egret is. Being a neophyte in the nature category and especially birds, I would never have noticed this particular attitude. I love the framing that leaves air around the scene. But don't you think it's a bit clear? I liked the blue of the saturated sky, admittedly a bit too much to see the twig, but I find the photo a bit pale.
A delight to see these majestic birds in flight. What patience! |

This image is really well worked to give relief to the rocks. A composition in three thirds makes the image even more captivating. It has a natural balance, we enter the image as well by the rocks as by the sea. One's eyes are captivated by this dreamy sky. Finally, I will display it well in my room in front of my bed without ever getting tired of it. |

Thank you very much for all these tips.
It is a submarine base that is no longer in operation and that serves as a cultural place. They project images on these black backgrounds and the water in the pools are used to make a reflection and a mirror effect. I have to go back next week, I will try to frame with my 70 x 200 at 2.8 in vertical and to find other effects.
Thanks again for your help. |
