76 Sep 22 Comment Henriette, thank you for making us travel. This is an image that shows an amazing place, mixing water and trees with this lush vegetation. I like the composition because the waterfall does not take all the space and the material of the trees is well rendered. On the other hand, I like your original more with maybe a little more luminosity because the shape of the trees is more interesting. The proposed photo flattens all the reliefs. Look at the areas of light on the trunks, the color of the green, the rendering of the material. I do not know if I would have pushed so much the treatment. Your picture is perfect from the beginning. The Black and White attracts me less because it is a little too gray and lacks contrast it lacks black in this image.
In any case, you had to walk a lot to find this little corner of paradise and offer it to our amazed eyes. Thank you

76 Sep 22 Comment The framing is really well thought out with a foreground that introduces the subject, a judiciously placed pebble on which we return, a background with rocks that offer indeed a lot of detail. It is a pleasant image that we would see displayed on top of our television and that we would not get tired of. The treatment of the water is pleasant and the treatment is beautiful. Why not in a local contest, your image is worth it, but some judges ban the sunsets, supposedly too easy to do... But it's not true, it's hard to do and to succeed. Well done. Sep 8th
76 Sep 22 Reply Thank you, for your comments. Indeed, of course the actors are delighted and use my images on their Facebook page, it's an exchange. I can do as many shots as I want and I return the images for their use.
For Volpone, I will try a small series of 7 with characters from the play and especially looks and expressions, for a contest in France. The layout under marie-louise will be glazed with fake coins (actually crushed beer caps) to remind the theme on the presentation page and on each image.

76 Sep 22 Comment This image shows the speed at which the photographer must react to take the image at the decisive moment. In fact I like the speed of the moment, the action and to have all the protagonists in the same photographic space. I thought about cropping the image for a moment, but the white lines are important. I would have darkened the orange t-shirt in the background which is a bit present and attracts the eye.
You have to come back to it to know how to position yourself. I had the same problem at the circus last Friday, often the artists were from the back while the stage is round. They didn't know how to adapt to the configuration. As much for a show, it is up to them to make sure that everyone sees them, as much for the sport, it is necessary to choose the most interesting spot for the photography. We have to start again.

76 Sep 22 Comment A nice combination between the water, the rocks and the light. It is very successful. I have already tried, but without any success. Bravo it gives desire, it is calm and yet we see the movement. It is restful. Sep 5th
76 Sep 22 Reply Thank you for these reframings, indeed the look seems more focused on its look and action. This is a very good choice. In addition we avoid the trap of the golden cushion that attracts the eye. Sep 5th
