I observed all the details of the scene. The minimalist side is not so much, you would think you could discover an animal or a detail of branches in each pile of snow. This photo has relief and of course this animal in the right place is the cherry on the cake as we say in France.
I like the nuances in the landscape, the choice of the framing. |

It is soothing and at the same time dynamic because of the vertical framing. The two figures give proportion to the size of the trees.
I like the branch that comes back to decorate the sky above the other. It has branches all twisted and looks old, without being too scary (which was the case in the original photo). A pleasant moment of stroll in countryside, bravo it is very pleasant to look at one would not get tired of it.

Reframing was a necessity from the start.
What I like is the way the ice cascades from one branch to the next. Cutting the branches takes the eye out of the frame at each line. What is interesting is the whole thing, the branches, the ice, the impression of good weather on the original image... It's not easy to manage, I think you've done a good job. Well done. |

So, extracted from a car or not, what I notice is the tight framing, the repetition of "pipes", the reflections on the brushed aluminum, ... I would think I was in a factory. I like the black and white treatment that gives this particular color to the metal. Indeed, if you look at the original, it's a different impression.
It's worth it sometimes to bring out the old images to sublimate them.

I love the intensity of this black and white that makes these flowers stand out. A different and sublimated approach to this flower. By its character, it has a grumpy look and the black and white reinforces the impression: I am not happy at all. And yet you pay homage to it with this very successful treatment.
Bravo for your poetry, your vision of things, for this sublime image. |

Thanks for the comment. So, I'm a fan of framing that means something either 24 x 36 or 24 x 30 and 16/9. I could have removed the tape indeed, but that would have made a "weird" format or I would have cut out elements of the scene.
In Hip Hop, they work on a dance floor that cushions the falls. It's usually black but here it was checkered.
Thanks for everything. |
