Thanks for you input Patrick, I do struggle with coming up with good names for my images and that can lead to confusion. The goal here was to blend the train into one single form. I agree that blur to suggest movement is the norm, but not the look I wanted for this one. This is the only location where you can photograph this from a track level view. There is one spot aways down stream that may work with a big lens. |

Thanks for your comment Walter. I have photos where the movement is apparent but for this one I wanted to blend the surface of the train, removing the individuality of the cars. I could have done a better job with the title of the image. |

Nicely done, I too agree with it needing more sky. Excellent subject, I'm sure that there will be more trips to this location in the future.
Here in Louisiana the are a lot of wildlife areas and all of them are no fly zones for drones. |

I think most point have been covered in the earlier comments. It sounds like your client was the editor and you gave them what they asked for, a picture perfect family picnic. kind of surprised that the blanket wasn't checkered LOL. My only real comment on your side of the photo would have been removing the object in the upper right corner, it's not really a problem, but for me it takes away from the out in nature feel. |

I like the thought process, framing the the subject within the the opening. I have to agree that the bright foreground is a little distracting, like having two subjects I am not quite sure who to look at. I tried selecting the foreground and added a blur and darkened it some, just for comparison

I like your original image. It has a nice balance of subject and environment keeps the I'm hidden and safe feel. color and focus are good and the eye has a nice catch light. |
