Very nice Mark, with great interaction between the subject and the viewer. I think Dorinda his right about the background. When I first looked at the image I was almost instantly drawn to the bright objects on the far shore. |

Really enjoyed this one Walter. Nice vibrant steer scene with excellent clarity.
Just for giggles I did a little playing with it. Added a slightly red tint to the mid-tones to accent the rejected light from the street, and a little adjustment to the highlights. |

I was thinking of a video with a very similar topic to what Dorinda mentioned, it was by landscape photographer William Patino. In it he cautioned about going too big, or wanting to show the viewer all of the great vista. A tight crop might be better here. |

Thanks Dorinda, I believe they were in a small rented kayak. I seriously considered cropping both the bottom and top. |
