The time lap video was as much about the sky as it was the beach and the people on it, so I tried getting a focal point where the two were acceptably in focus. |

True there was a lot going on in the video. People coming and going and the night sky moving too. Not sure it transitioned to a single frame very well. |

Actually the video/ time laps this came from was as much about the group turf fishing as it was the passing of the milky way above their heads as the night past. This image caught my attention because of the flashlight beam.

Dramatic scene with plenty of action. I'd like to try shooting something like these. I do believe the others have covered most of what needs looking at. |

I like your image, I also like you are taking it from 0 to 10 as the structure and your eye move up the frame. My one suggestion would to look closer at the way the light transitions from one shade to the next. The edges between the zones seems to me to be sharp, over processed, loses the natural feel. |

I kind of like the image as shown. I'm reading a book on color and tone by Michael Freeman. Looking at it from that perspective the color Green and its interaction with the blue of the sky are the real main players here. The objets and people are just frames to hold the colors. |
