Very creative. From my point of view I like the shadow detail inside of the shells. It might be fun to try multiple different colored lights. |

Those are beautiful Iris, great color and sharpness too. For me the amount of tilt suggests an artistic decision. |

This was shot about 9 miles north of my house in NW Louisiana, its part of the Bodcau wildlife management area. |

I like it Leonid. Stephen has an interesting point that honestly I wouldn't have even considered. I am also wondering about removing the subject on the steps, I think removing him/her would add to the feel of the players being total in the game.

Lovely model, I bet everyone had a good time. I have practically no experience in this type of photography besides natural lighting photos of family, so I'm wondering what lens and aperture you were using? The reason I ask is a wide aperture would have lowered the iso and blurred the backdrop more, but you might have been shooting wide open for the lens you had. In either case it will help me visualize the lens's DoF.

Very nice photo. Love the color on Mt. Rainer and the sky.
The car on the left seems to distract from the car with the cool starburst lights, but removing it left a gap. So for giggles I used the clone brush to move the cars on the right to remove the left car. The new placement of the cars didn't seem to hurt the composition. I don't know if it's just me but the burnt out street light needed a little attention too.
It's just me but the everyday feel of your photo with the cars facing away from the mountain says that even a grand vista like Mt. Rainer at sunset can become a common and overlooked event. |
