I like the image, like the others the house could be toned down but not removed. Not to sure what can be done with the window reflection, perhaps some gentle clone work on the reflection but the cone needs to stay |

I like it Walter. B&W was a good choice for this subject. The crop works for me, the books are the constant in the room, and the woman is just passing through. Would like a little more contrast in it though. This was done with the color image. |

Nicely done... I particularly like the color punch of the bud in all that green, and the hairs or little prickles say proceed with caught. |

Classic proposal and to echo Dorinda, it's a great keepsake. I think most things have been covered by the other, except for the light spot in front of his face. I thought it was his breath but the more I look the more it appears to be a bright spot in the background. I think that toning that down will also make his face standout more. |

Hey Judy thanks for your input. I really feel like the danger sign is an important part of the image, hopefully helping set the feel. |

Thank you Jon, you know sometimes it's easy to get so involved in the process that you forget your audience. I agree that the dam composition was good on its own, but I wasn't super happy with the sky so, off I went to find a new one. I do like the overall otherworldly look of the image, but now that you have chimed in I can absolutely see how it could miss the mark. But that's why we joined these groups, to get honest feedback. Hey Bob, Im afraid I miss spoke when describing my image. as it turns out the dam was actually an HDR stack of several photos ranging in length from a few seconds to 15+ seconds. The two attached images of the dam are 4 seconds for the darker one and 15 seconds for the lighter one. The moon was shot at 1/200th. All of these are SOC.
This image has gone through a number of incarnations so the name it has now a combining of the two elements and a number for how late it is in its progression. I', totally open for names.
I like the B&W idea might be dammoon 13, LOL |
