Nice composite Leonid, I like the lines and your choice of elements. I too feel that there is a need for a little more blending work to match the snow between the different layers. |

big fan of this photo. I would like to see a little detail in the shadow area of the tunnel, but I do understand that it isn't always possible to set up a shot at a spot a popular as this.
Strictly for fun, I cropped a bit off the bottom and did a levels adjustment. |

I haven't had the opportunity to use a light box yet, but it is something on my to do list. I agree that the current back ground is too different from the flower. Perhaps a gaussian blur layer could be applied to the background replacement to soften it a little?
On the other hand the flower is interesting on its own, did you try a solid background? |

I am with you on the left-to-right-read on images, this in IMO seemed to work a bit better being flipped. If I remember my Gestalt theory, facing upwards and to the right should add a feeling of leaving home, adventure or even wonder. Where will the butterfly go. That said there is a senior member of my photo club that insists on the eye contact with the subject that is afforded by a left facing subject. |

I like this, what flavor is the pretzel one? I also like the 1x1 crop with the subject |
