I thought this image was made as an abstract in postprocessing. I agree with you, Will. It is so hard now to be steady enough to get things tack sharp, but this image really caught and kept my interest. Good job. |

The fact that there were 3 horses surprised me. What did you think about the difference between the Lr BW and Silver Effects? Did you do it in both to see the difference? The horses and harnesses are tack sharp, and even the horses' eyelashes are sharp. You can see the dappling in the horses. I agree with Chan about a slight amount of contrast or even dehaze. I may overuse dehaze. |

This is a beautiful image. I do like what Chan did with the image. I am so impressed with the vision and skill all of you have.
Chan, what did you mean about being careful with dehaze? I know it will make the sky look a strange blue if you go too far. |

The colors are vibrant and the image is sharp. My thoughts are a little different as far as cropping. I think I would have left more of the walk/driveway, as it is a leading line, and I would have put more of the lake in. The other comments talk about isolating--the tree second from the house and the nearest one to the camera have interesting shapes as the limbs leave the trunk of the tree. Are you taking any kind of class for your phone images? Good job. |

Thank you all for your comments. Chan, I have a friend who really explained layers to me in a way that I could understand. I had taken one of the PSA classes, but the instructor was in Singapore, so my questions were not answered in a timely fashion, and he NEVER explained layers or WHY I was supposed to do what he told me to do. So I have a better understanding. I haven't tried anything again, but I will. |

Will, thank you for your comments. I am just now learning Ps, and I may try to take this and "make it my own." I have been trying to back up all my images, and not without some issues, so when I saw this (and I was up against the end of the month), I chose this one. Thank you. |
