I actually think I tried it both ways-making the bridge sharp and having more of the bridge in the image. I was trying different ways. |

The BW version is more appealing.

Jennifer, it does scream "Deliverance!" A beautiful image, with the cypress tree reflected in the water. The colors are muted more in the background and more vivid on the tree. I like that. Was it intentional? My eye is drawn to what looks like a path to the right of the tree. There is another one to the left, both of which lead to mystery. I love the moss. Great image. |

The image kind of shocked me when I first opened it, until I saw the title. Tack sharp throughout, and the arch itself it the leading line. You can't keep your eyes from following it. Nice. |

Dale, I'm with you. I love paths-wondering about the road less taken. I can see the path, which leads my eye into the image. The BW is interesting. I would like to see the original. |

Steven, your composite is perfect in my eye. I looks like the guide is touching one of the rows of grapes. Everything is sharp, and the guides hand leads my eye to the rows of grapes, which in turn, lead my eye to the river. Very nice. |

Chan, the BW version is so much more appealing to me. It portrays a sense of loneliness that the boy may be feeling. The black vignetting also adds to that sense of loneliness. I do like the BW version much more. Nice job.

Lance, your image should be used in one of the old film noir movies. The blurred background really sets the moon apart and helps portray the sense of mystery. Beautiful.
