Jennifer, you nailed it again! The clouds rolling in over the shore give the entire image an other-worldly effect. I do think the BW makes it more effective. I, too, like the sheeting action of the water across the fluke. When we went to Alaska, I was able to photograph whales, too, but I never thought about converting the images to BW. I'm going to have to go back to some of those images and play with them. |

When I first looked at the image, I had the same impression as Jennifer-that the boats were floating. It is extremely serene. All the Ps and Lr edits (from everyone) are amazing! I have a couple of questions-What are ICM and ME? Those are not familiar to me. I also do not believe there is EVER too much information. Those are great hints for getting the finished images you are looking for. Thank you. |

What fun! I have worked at sports photography (3 sons and now GRANDgifts), and it is very hard to get good images. I love the joy on the coach's face. Tack sharp, and I feel your edits were spot on! Nice that you were right behind the dugout. I used to have to work through a chain link fence!!! |

A very interesting image. I'm glad that the other graffiti artists didn't bother the main image. Piggybacking on Steven's comments, were there other colors in the image, or was it originally all BW? |
