I like the bird "almost" in the moon. The tree branches are tack sharp, and with the moon being shrouded in mist, it gives it a dreamy look-the bird (hawk?) may be dreaming about flying to the moon. It is a beautiful image. |

My first impression was "WOW!" The lights in the lower stories really pop! The BW contrast is perfect! Were the other buildings actually there? They could have been since many buildings in the cities are just alike. Great job! |

I agree with Lance, that I would prefer more of the water ahead of the rafters, but I do like having all the water in the image, along with the trees in the background. I also think there was not a lot of difference in the tones, but, as you said, early spring in Michigan is not the same as early spring in Arkansas! One thing that makes me wonder as I look at the image-where were YOU when you took the picture? On a bridge? It appears that the image was taken from above the rafters. Interesting. I can't wait until I can get back on my kayak in the lake! |

I looked at your composite in group 18 as well. I really like the BW better. I think the contrast of the black hat and jacket against the lighter wall makes the image have a "starkness" feeling. I agree with Steven that your pose makes it seem you are contemplating something, which brings me back to "what, why?" Very interesting image, and well done. |

Steven, you are correct about apple not making it easy. I had not considered making sure that my iphone images are the same size when I import them into Lr, and I have not tried the macro mode. It is a very interesting image. Until you explained what it was, I was intrigued trying to figure it out. I took all of my "Israel that wasn't" trip with my iphone 15. |

Where is this? It is a beautiful scene. I agree with Steven that the clouds appear almost as waves. The ship does appear to be the focus point, and it is the focal point as well. With it sailing off to the right, you get the impreseion of movement. Beautiful! |
