Thank you all for your suggestions. I agree that it does look much better with the darkened window. I used the masking in Lr to select just the window and darkened it that way. |

Thank you, Jennifer. I will try that. I am not great at a lot of what Lr and Ps offer, so it is nice to have things to try out-and try to do well. I have started using the masking tool, which is nice-and very easy. Thank you all. |

Thank you. Good idea, Jennifer. I was so intent on the bokeh that I missed the glare from the window. During Advent, we light a candle on each of the 4 Sundays. They stand for Hope, Peace, Joy (pink candle), and Love. Then on CHRISTmas Eve service and/or CHRISTmas morning, the white Christ candle is lit. My GRANDgifts light the candles when we all get together for our CHRISTmas celebration. |

This is a great image. You caught the one with the crab, and I can see that it is a crab. You also have the birds in flight in sharp focus. I see that you cropped and sharpened, but it is a very pleasing image. |

This is great! The colors are vivid. It looks like a pop art poster or some type of android. The bright colored areas are sharp, but you have blurring in the background. Is the red the actual color? As Will suggested, it is like HDR. Interesting. |

She is perfectly sharp, and the flames are amazing. It is funny what draws one's eye. I noticed the belly button jewelry as I was trying to figure out what she was actually twirling. Great shot! |

As Lance said, you are very good in Ps! Looking at the differences between the original and your post, it really doesn't look like the same objects. You truly transformed them. The catch light on the side of the vases draws my attention, and the contrast between the smooth, light-catching vases and the basket is interesting. |

I agree with Will. I took me a minute to actually see the squirrel. The way you caught him makes him a very interesting part of the image. |
