It was a very interesting trip, although not the trip we had planned for or anticipated. The ruins were so well preserved, but again, this was the 4th try to see Israel. Maybe someday… |

The color of his eye caught my attention immediately! Beautiful image. The feathers and the stump are very sharp, and the background blur is perfect. I like the colors in his beak as well. Nice image. |

Stephen, I wish we could have seen more of Turkey. What we saw was beautiful. I was so amazed at the Terrace houses and the quality of the preservation of the mosaics and the murals. We have no concept of true antiquity in our country. One of our guides told us that some area was fairly new-early 4th century AD!!! That really puts our less than 250 year old country in perspective!! LOL!! |

Jennifer, I was waiting for the 15 to come out specifically to use on this trip, and it did not disappoint! Maybe someday, I'll finally get to Israel! |

A beautiful valley and a beautiful image. I agree that Lance's VERY subtle edits help in the separation of all the green in the valley. I really want to travel to Ireland some day. |

This reminds me of many of the paths around Hot Springs, especially up on the mountains here in town. The path and curve at the end draw you into the image…wondering where it leads. The colors are so serene. |

All I can say is CRAZY!! The colors are vivid, and the fire! You captured it perfectly. The fire in the far right has so many colors and so much movement in that part of the fireball. GREAT job! |

I am so jealous that you actually got to go there! I do like the crop, but I notice part of a water jar? on the far right? You brightened the image beautifully, bringing out the colors. Is this Gethsemane?

Absolutely stunning! So clear. The water must have been dead still to create that mirror image! Would you post the original? It is almost impossible to tell where the reflection starts. This is beautiful. |

Thank you, Lance. It was definitely an experience. I was happy with the quality of the images just using my cell phone. I know there has been discussion about cell phones vs DSLRs. It is nice that the cell phone will now let you shoot in RAW format. The mosaics were so well preserved. So much beauty and history. |
