WOW, Jennifer! For a random and very fast shot, it is absolutely tack sharp! My first thought when the image was coming up, was that it was a fireman bringing an animal out of a fire, then I saw more of the image, it is amazing! They were on a skateboard? Crazy! Absolutely a great shot!! |

I never picked up on the dock like you did, Jennifer. But once I did, I'm like you-how is it attached?! |

Yes, Jennifer, it is. I was dealing with sun and shadows-and too long a lens for the situation. By the time I got the shorter lens, I needed the longer one, but my husband took it back home with him. I do hope to get more pictures of them. |

Thank you, Steven. My issue was the lens I was using to begin with. I didn't think I would be able to get as close as I did, so I had the 100-500mm lens on. By the time the other lens got to me, they decided they were tired of me. I will be doing more shots of them, now that I know it is a possibility for me. |

I am drawn to the yellow center of the one flower, and I may be thinking the same was Lance is, that cropping the left lower corner or side of the image. There is sharpness in some of those buds, and the yellow in the open flower on the left side does not draw my eye quite as much. The colors are beautiful. |

Beautiful sunset. I hate the fact that there are wildfires, but it made the sun a beautiful color. It is a very serene image. |

This is beautiful! It is an amazing update to Ps that you could remove those tethers so well. Fabulous! I have an image of a juvenile bald eagle that has a tuft of green that I have never been able to get rid of. I may try it on that. |

I agree with Lance, the exposure and detail are very crisp. I like havingOne thing that I keep looking at is his necklace--I don't know if having it all outside his shirt would show up on the black shirt, but seeing it disappear is detracting to me. Just me, and I'm no expert! LOL!! I like having him against the black background and just showing him in contrast. Great catchlight in his eyes. |

The darker curved branches act as leading lines as well as some framing. The BW adds interest, and the small white flowers give a Japanese feeling. There is one structure slightly below the top of the frame in the center that almost looks like a spider. The roots near the bottom of the image and the smaller trunks also draw attention. Very nice. |
