Lance, thank you for your comments. The high ISO was because of the concert setting/lighting, and I wanted to make sure that I really stopped the action of her fingers. I am just learning to use PS, and I am a really novice in LR, so all of these techniques are new to me. I have a hard time with the coloring as well. I'm learning! Thank you. |

I'm so sorry your hot air balloon ride didn't happen, as those images would have been fabulous! This one has nice contrast without losing the "fogginess" of the morning. I like the fact that you have captured the tendrils of the vines attaching to the support structure. Nice image. |

We, here in Arkansas, are expecting snow AGAIN this Friday! It was in the high 70s a few days ago! I am in awe of such creativity! I love learning different techniques and things to try. That is a really neat image. My first thought was that they were striped, colored drinking straws, but then, as I looked at it more closely, I knew that wasn't it. Fun image. |

I love this image. The brightness at the far end of the bridge is beckoning...the first thing I thought about was what people talk about when they have near death experiences and seeing "the light." To me, this could be the path to Heaven! |

I think it is interesting that the jacket and purse are almost the same color as the lighter leaves in the portrait...her hat is almost that color as well. It is almost as if she should be part of the picture!! And with her standing there, you really do get a sense of the size of the posters. |

I love the reflections in the water. Such a dichotomy between the peaceful water and the starkness of the sign--both with the lettering and the message! An interesting shot, to say the least! |

Steven, Yes, I was focusing on the reflection, so I'm glad that worked!! I thought the hands in the reflection were the stars. I see what you did with the hands and the floor. Good catch!
We are going to have a modified music festival this year, but it will not be what it has been in the past, and I don't know about the opportunity to take the pictures, but we will see what happens.
