Hi Robin,
I agree with Brad that a crop on the right hand side would create a more balanced composition...just inside the tree that is leaning slightly maybe. That would place the two figures roughly on the thirds . You have combined two lovely images and produced a very thought provoking result. |

Hi Nadia,
The words 'trapped' and 'at sea' sprang to mind when I first looked at your image. When I saw the girl's mask I thought that is how we all felt during the Covid Lockdown period... trapped indoors, often alone, nothing to do. You have depicted 'drifting through life' so well. I do admire your work. Wonderful!! |

Amazing concept Joan. I don't think it matters that the front pig is a bit blurred. Actually it gives a nice feeling of speed and as the back three are in focus that would often happen I think. I didn't realise there were such things as pig races over barriers. |

Hi Ian. Glad you had a good play with this technique. What a good result. I enjoy the colourful effect but think that the grey bit doesn't quite fit in. Maybe put the petal on a different background to start with?? Nadia's B and W is a nice variant where the grey fits in better. Good Fun! |

Brad you have started with two beautiful images. I like the painterly treatment of the landscape and the blurred effect you have created on the left. This gives a good sense of movement. I like the way you have tilted the landscape which is almost flying away with the egret. Lovely.
Nadia's image showing the black border seems to give more context to the content of the image. |
