I love the soft feathery texture of your image Brian and the way that you have used the curves in the solar sculpture to emphasise and contain the face. She looks very young to be a widow and maybe her thoughts are still whirling as in your image. The sepia colouring also adds to the atmosphere and energy of the image.
I am truly sorry that you had some issues with your lenses in Kenya and hope you can get them sorted satisfactorily. |

Hi Marta, Welcome to the group.
I like the way you put some slight sideways movement as well as the vertical sweep you used to get this image. Also the use of the texture slider has brought out the lovely lines and colours in the bark of the trees. I must say that Brian's take on your image is very pleasing. |

Hi Brad. The sheep made me feel really at home as we have so many of them here in Wales. I had no idea there were any so near to stonehenge. They certainly add interest to the foreground with the stones being so far away. You have made some added eye candy with the stormy sky and lightening. I have never tried to take an image of lightening. Is it very fifficult? |

Wow, I really like what you have done with the radial blur Brian. I take your point about too many elements in the image but the radial blur certainly highlights the pumpkin.
The second image is certainly different and I appreciate the change in mood that the desaturation of the colours makes.
I do hope you had a great time in Kenya and wonder what your favourite image was? |
