Hi Brad, Yes I realised I had not made a very good job of making the rose brush and the background remains as a shadow. I just didn't have time to start all over again with it but must do better next time. It does spoil the effect somewhat, I have to admit. |

Thanks Tom. You may be right but doesn't that make it a bit kind of empty and too abstract?? |

I love this image Brian and it has lots of impact. I must discover the Fractalious filter. Where does it hide? |

What a great idea Nadia. Thinking outside the box as they say.
Brian has said it all. I agree that the litter on the bottom left draws the eye away from the main action which is where the story is and is too bright. The texture and lighting is very striking and makes a lovely backdrop. Love it! |

Hi Brad. Lucky man going in search of the Northern Lights. They were visible here in Wales last week, a rare phenomenon, but unfortunately I missed the event. I love your ethereal background image but, like Brian don't think the light painted figure fits against it. Could you get rid of the lights and put a sort of ethereal glow around it? Just a thought. |

Hi Henry, Amazing what filters can do. It's great fun playing with them. Fantastic that you have morphed a flower into a fire with such a vibrant colour palette.

I like the concept of your image Tom and connect with the feelings that it evokes. Your description is so comprehensive that there is little I can add. I wonder what it would look like without the woodland image which maybe muddies the scene somewhat. However, as this is an integral part of your concept it needs to be there and put the deer in its own environment.

A really beautiful image Lisa. Just up my street! The double effect creates a very pleasing balance and enables the eye to travel round the curves and stay within the image. Beautifully sharp too. |

Thank you for your comments Brian. I will put some more work in on the image to see if I can develop it.
