21 Jul 22 Reply Thank you Brian for your helpful comments. I shall certainly have to get down to using the blur tool and will work on the other improvements you suggest. Jul 24th
21 Jul 22 Comment Impressed by how much effort you are willing to put in to produce such a stunning image Mike. Nice to know someone who has even more flower images than me too. I never succeeded with the cube either and wouldn't have the skills to produce such an image. Congratulations. I think I would enlarge the area of background around it though and confine the border to one thin line......obviously your choice. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Comment A fantastic idea Skip and well executed. I agree with Joan's comment about the space above the statue and would add that the heads are so much brighter than the statue. Maybe this doesn't matter as per Brian's comments about the luminosity. I like the clouds holding it all together which gives it a heavenly feel. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Comment Brian, you continue to amaze me. Incredible concept and execution. My literal brain would have expected to see the spheres as the moon or a planet or even the earth but it might be difficult for you to take an image of the earth. You may have to cheat on that one. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Reply Oh yes, I remember those. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Comment I think the alterations you have made Joan have definitely improved the image. I hadn't noticed that the rain was upside down in the original but I see it now. I was wondering if the dog on top of the umbrella is necessary as I think it may be aesthetically better not to have it there, even though you could argue that the rain would be there. Your image of Death Valley is amazing . Are the tracks actually there or did you add them. I much prefer this image to your Cats and Dogs. It would get a 20 from me! Very quirky. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Reply Thanks for the link Peter. I shall certainly have a go at this as I have never tried it before. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Reply That is interesting Mike. Thanks for your comments. Jul 18th
21 Jul 22 Reply I fully agree but was struggling to find anything creative that wasn't another flower. Will see what I can do with the sea here in Cornwall.
