Thanks for your comments Brian. In actual fact I sent in two versions of the same image not an 'original and final version. The one labelled Original has had more work done on it with textures but I was experimenting a bit with a variety of colours and leaving the blue one a bit more blurry. I just wondered which was the most successful. I think everyone's comments have been in favour of the one with the sharpness in the flowers.. so thanks for reinforcing that. |

This seems like a very ambitious Project Skip. You certainly like a challenge. Taking photos in the dark definitely is a challenge and you have pushed the camera hard. The final colour is very suitable for the subject and I like that. The 'blind ' eyes give it an other worldly effect. This is a most unusual image. |

Good creative idea Mike, cleverly carried out. I think I too would leave more room to the right of the dice. I would also make the bunch of three smaller in the frame so they do not touch the sides. I enjoy the concept. |

I prefer the more simple one as you can actually make out the houses so it makes more sense to me. could you explain exactly how you do this as I haven't a clue. |

Hi Brian, An interesting idea. I like the first image but find the difference between the others not sufficient to hold my attention. A novel idea putting them in a collage. Very creative. |

You have novel ideas Joan and great execution. Also great perseverance to produce such an image. I was wondering if the dogs that are facing to the left could be flipped to face the other way so they are looking at your daughter. I think I would put one of the cats that is looking forwards at the front so it is looking at the viewer. Maybe that is because I am more of a cat person. |

Yes Skip I used two textures. One of them was a burst.I also used a brush to add some splodges of the pinky colour on the one that Joan has labelled the Original.

Thankyou for your comment Joan. I think you are right as he flowers do stand out more on the first image. Looking at them again I think the colours are better too. |
