Thanks Michael, removing those branches seems unanimous. Your tighter crop idea is good. |

Thanks Cindy. I thought I might need the light on the branches to reinforce the 'moonlight' idea, but thanks for confirming I don't. |

It took a moment to recognize the eyes as the stump competes strongly for attention, but the challenge and creative solution are noteworthy. |

A very interesting subject. I like your crop, but the original colors and crop are also very pleasing. Cindy's version fixes the small distraction in the bottom left corner that doesn't seem to be as distracting in the original.
If I were to try anything it would be to apply a bit less contrast and sharpening, as the soft texture of the original is part of its appeal, for me. |

As others have mentioned, awesome pic, and your side lighting is very effective enhancing the sense of action and lighting up those water droplets. I too like the tweak you made, darkening the upper corner. |

Great technique for the water -- and other than agreeing with the slight crop aforementioned I could not improve on it. I've noted the waterfall name and location in case I'm down that way, and presume it must be a photog's magnet as Larry seems to know it well. |
