Thanks for the comments. The sky is always a problem for me. I saturated some blue in post (compare to the original) but I can't decide whether the original gray clouds work better or the blue. It was rainy season, the sky always looked threatening... |

The black & white version adds a whole other dimension. That beautiful stark tree line separates highlights the difference between the field (which looks parched in the b&w) and the rain clouds. Lots of appeal technically and aesthetically. If that's a harvester tractor in the distance, it would be the only thing I'd try to remove... but gorgeous nonetheless. |

I love this photo. The pattern of color clusters and the texture on the water, the randomness of bugs, while still conveying their structure. Very original idea. Can we post the original photo, to see before and after cropping? |
