Thanks Nicole. I keep waffling between the absolute black, which itself seems to dominate, and the subdued red, and I'm thinking the latter wins. |

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I know, I tried so many crops. In the end, it seemed some of the mountain in the background was needed to accentuate the randomness and the jagged descending line of the pools in the distance. |

Waldo is very small, inside red circle below. Each family owns one of the salt ponds. There were a few more miners down to the left (out of field of view). |

A great example of this elegant insect. The 2nd version is much sharper, with nice bokeh. The wings (stage left) and leg hair are in perfect focus, but the glint of the eye is not. I guess a deeper DOF would fix that, at the expense of some of that bokeh. |

Love the subject, and the color. I have no suggestions for improvement, but agree with the suggestion about a tighter crop. |

You did an amazing job extracting nice color from the original. I agree the blue in the sky was a bit more promising in the original, where the haze line above the hills was also less obvious. They all look thirsty. |

Postcard perfect. Love the red. Great reflection. Both crops work, but I like the bridge because it adds some context. |
