This is a very soothing picture. The blur gives it a dreamy feel. I agree with Jerry. I prefer the landscape. My eyes seem to flow in a natural horizontal direction as compared to the not-as-natural vertical flow in the portrait. |

This is on my bucket list as one of the places I want to visit. Nice effect with the colors and cropping. Prayers for you and wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery.

Nice picture, Bob. I feel that it may be cropped too tightly on the right side. It looks like the yellow cast in the original photo was due to your white balance settings. |

Very nice image and great timing! You really captured the essence of this magnificent creature. It's moments like these that you have to be quick and don't have the opportunity to make all the adjustments to your camera. Just to experiment, I took the liberty of making some adjustments: exposure, contrast, clarity, dehaze and noise reduction. I also added a very slight vignette to add a little more emphasis on the whale. Don't get me wrong, your picture is nice the way it is. I just wanted to see how it would look with some minor adjustments. |
