Yes, some people find Escher's work a little unsettling. He used mathematics as inspiration in his lithographs and woodcuts. Here's one of his: "Relativity" |

Wonderful, alluring picture. The light and shadows are spot on. Your cropping gives the picture a real sense of depth. You can try adding a figure, ghost, person or animal to see how it looks. But I don't know if it's necessary. Sometimes leaving things to the imagination is good, too. Great job! |

Thanks. I really didn't notice the darker steeple until you pointed it out. |

Very nice, serene image. The reflection may be curved a little too much. Perhaps making the reflection a straight line, moving it a little more toward the rock, elongating the reflections toward the front and adding a gaussian blur? You could also add a touch of light to the top of the rocks |

A fun picture. I can remember going to parties like these :-). I think the shadows on the bears need to be a little shorter and pointed towards the lower left of the picture to coincide with the shadow of the building. Perhaps adding a slight blur to the outer edge of the bears, fire and stones so that they blend in a little more with the scene. The gaussian blur seem a bit too much. Maybe cut back some on the blur. |

Interesting concept. The color contrast works well. Nice touch with the gaussian blur. Perhaps darkening the background would make the orb stand out a little more. (my opinion) |

A few dozen. There were a number of racers and this is really the only one that came out decently. It was a challenge. I may practice some more panning on the local railroad tracks |

Very nice, attractive photo. I don't see anything that can be improved. It would look very nice as a framed piece of wall art. |
