I like this, and think it would make an excellent B&W. I wonder if the person at the bottom should be removed, especially since that person is so bright. |

Beautiful flower. Either the black background or a dark green would work too. |

Because of all the highlight tones, it does come across as busy (the problem when there is not a lot of sky or non vegetative material to contrast with it). How about a severe crop to get just most of one side only (also cropping some of the top), with parts of the black sky on one side and the darker water? |

I agree with the suggestion to vignette the bottom right corner for balance. Although the sky treatment is technically correct, I agree that the sky does not quite fit in, actually perhaps due to all the clouds. (Usually having a cloudless sky would be a big no-no in landscapes.) |

I like Kirsti's idea to crop some of the bottom. |

I like this. Obviously you could make it more contrasty, but you were going for a soft approach. I think a slight vignette in the right corner will suffice. |

I have not heard of this version. I have heard that selecting the sky, then subtracting the sky from the same selection in LR will get rid of the fuzzy selection that LR tends to create. |
