I like that the techniques took a very contrasty image and turned into something more subtle and etherial. I like turning some images into paintings, and although Photoshop still has the painting brushes, several fun programs like Topaz had are no longer supported. There is one that I have that will probably stop working with the latest update to the MAC system, and that is Snap Art by Alien Seed. I tried it here as a mask on the background to add some heavy brush strokes. I also noticed that the dark area in the center of the flower was originally part of the background, so I cloned it back to the background. (It did not seem to fit on the flower otherwise.) |

You captured a good travel image, with the intensity of the women reveled. I agree with Kristi that making the smoke more visible works. |

The tight cropping works for me. And I like the grainy effect as in the film days. |
