I like the effect, and the muted background. Quite a bit of work, but the results were successful. I suggest that you select the subject, and perhaps add just a little bit of "s curve" contrast. |

Well done. Moving around to catch the mirror reflection was inspirational, as it gives the viewer a "triangle" from the mirror to the coat and over and back up to the mirror. |

It is amazing how well you sparked up the original drab picture. In looking at the final, the "sunny" light looks natural. Cropping out the boring foreground so that the S curve in the water starts at the bottom was also a good idea. |

An interesting approach as a high contrast picture. I wonder if cropping to the back wall at the top so only a portion of the lighter background is showing might make a better framing at the top. |

This is very nice. I like the shadow detail in the wall. The yellow sulphur coated rocks really stand out. I also see another picture within this, focusing more on the yellow rocks,steam, and background. |
