I agree with Anges about toning the bottom a bit, as it is the "base" of the image. |

Not sure why I was getting this horizon halo when that area was the original sky. But I went back to the original B&W copy and brightened that area of transition before re-applying my adjustments, and then adding more contrast. |

I like what you saw. It looks like modern art. The hands add to the strangeness of it. |

I agree with Mervyn too. It is not dark, but needs to contrast. I added a curve contrast over all, and then the same for the bottom part of the water by using a graduated mask. (Perhaps the dehaze in camera raw will do the same) |

I think the B&W version is an improvement. And that broom acts as a nice blocker. I agree with Mervyn about adjusting the upper right poster. |

As you say, the rows are what make this image. I like the composition and balance, but I wold like to see the sky a little darker to help frame below. (Although with the amount of bright white clouds, that may not be possible.) |

The background is busy, but because it is mostly the same colors. it does not bother me, with such a compelling subject. The only exception for me is the bright box (?) in the lower left, and adjoing cloth. I think toning these down would help, even if they have been darkened already. |

As soon as I went to reply to the response in email, I saw that I had copied the wrong file in the folder. (Usually I check everyone's before closing!) |
