very nicely cropped. Agree with others. I wonder if a slight desaturation of the purple in the background towards the top, might push emphasis away from it and on the flower more? |

I see no changes to make to this. I like that the important part, the head is lit up and sharp, and the darker, slightly out of focus body causes a nice depth. |

This is a great view. I wonder if just a tad more brightness to the foreground might help, without impacting that nice stormy sky. I also just applied a slight dodge to the bushes in front, leading to the trees in the back to give the eye a circular path to follow back to the sky. See what you think. |

I like this, and agree with Jose about cropping slightly from the top. |

How about selecting the bird and making it bigger in the image so it takes on more importance and still preserves the cloud effect? In this example, it looks bad, and enlarging an element on a low res image leaves a lot of jpeg artifacts, but I think you would get the idea. What do you think?
There is also a tiny branch element in the lower left corner, which is easy to remove. |

The shadow on the original is very subtle, as the light was fairly soft (and very dark!), and I did paint in a darkening around the paws, etc., but it it hard to see on the grass with various levels of brightness, versus the original uniform smooth floor. |

I added a grass layer, and with a mask, just painted it in to the area. To match the depth of field in the original, I had to apply a depth blur. Thanks for catching the mismatch. |
