26 Jun 23 Comment I think your treatment is an improvement; the contrast adds impact and defines the "ghost" more. This is the kind of image that will probably be polar extremes as far as feeling, as most abstracts are so open, as compared to a "normal" image. I found it grew on me, but I know in a normal competition, you would get killed. But that is not what counts as much as how much you enjoy it. Jun 12th
26 Jun 23 Comment Very nice street image that you made very effectively with post processing. I agree with Kirsti about the distraction at top, which works with the crop, but since it is B&W, could also be toned to nearly the same brightness as the surrounding. Jun 12th
26 Jun 23 Comment Great image. The effect is to have the flower glow and pop, making for an eye catcher. I agree with Jose about toning or cloning that one bright leaf. Jun 12th

26 Jun 23 Comment I prefer the monochrome version for toning, as the image is almost monochromatic to start. As far as cropping, I am somewhere between the two. I think the tree on the left is distracting, but somehow I would like to see a little more of the curved path on the left, because I like that element of interest. Jun 12th
