I forgot to add my "2 cents" worth about the hiker. For a jpeg that is just seen on a monitor, I would agree that the hiker should maybe go, only because the person is so small, and you have to study it momentarily to figure it out. But if you were to make a large print, I would leave the person in, as small details are easier to see, and the hiker adds nice perspective. |

This is certainly different. At first I had thought that the top frames should be cropped out, but then I realized the shapes at the top add to the composition. |

I like the rendering that you did. Beautiful composition. Since it is back lit, I wonder if increasing the contrast slightly for the foreground would fit more for the type of light. |

I agree with others that cropping at least to the hands eliminates a minor distraction. (The wheel by itself would not bother me.) |

The lighting, pose, and composition are great. The vignetting, whether by lighting or post, works well. I find the tattoo a little distracting, but it is what it is. |

As stated, it is a personal choice on the contrast in this image, but I do prefer the newly edited version, as the flowers are easier to see. |

I like the contrast and composition. Great B&W. I noticed that the faces are blown out. Do you have in the original raw image the ability to bring back the highlights so you can restore detail there (and possibly the columns on the left)? |
