That also works too, and perhaps is even better as it is more dynamic. |

It seems you can find symmetry everywhere, and use it effectively, even in nature. Perhaps a little vignetting (more if already used?) would help draw us in even more. |

I like the pose and the warm colors. Indeed, it is definitely in the style of the Dutch masters. Maybe it is just me, but the hat seems to be more suitable for an adult, size wise. |

You did a great job of getting a sharp contrasty foreground base to convey the fog difference with depth. Use of fence as frame was nice. Even an element like the bird feeder is a nice touch.
Is that an antique clothes washer on the porch? |

You captured the sense of movement while still getting enough stop motion for sharpness. I cannot compare a before and after, but it seems you did a good job of toning down the background.
There is a dark blurry area on the left side in the middle that possibly could be removed. |

I like this image as is for its soft pastel colors.
You mentioned about moving the moon, so I moved it down more, so that there was less space between the main subject and the moon. (Content Aware Scale in PS would work nicely too.) Since I did that, I added a little more contrast on the bottom half and added more warmth to the sky. All that is not necessary, as you have a nice image as is, but sometimes I like to do "what if" to a picture. |
